The Joe Joe Bear Foundation

When we heard about the Joe Joe Bear Foundation we knew it was a cause we had to contribute to. Named after Joseph David Ordaz, an extraordinary young man who tragically lost his battle with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2009, the Joe Joe Bear Foundation donates teddy bears to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Hospitals can feel lonely sometimes, so Joseph asked for a teddy bear to help comfort him during those times when loneliness crept up on him. While in the hospital, he wished he could help comfort the sick children around him in some way, and that wish has been granted many times over because of the Foundation.

The fantastic folks at Joe Joe Bear are hosting their 7th Annual Golf Classic this Monday, so everyone wanting to participate in this amazing, heartfelt cause should plan to be there!
